Healthy Banana Ice Cream/Sorbet

Sorbet is kind of ice cream but with no milk or cream. I will call it as a healthy ice cream. You can make this with any fruits and toppings as you like. I have got few ripened bananas so I decided to go with banana and peanut butter flavor. 



Making Time - 15 minutes
Serving size - 2 People

Ingredients:

1. Banana - 1
2. Peanut Butter(Optional) - 1 tsp
3. Honey and crushed peanuts for topping (you can use chocolate syrup or any other nuts)
4. Salt - A pinch

Steps:

1. Cut bananas and freeze them for minimum of 2 hours.

2. Take the bananas from freezer and grind it right away in a mixie/blender. It will be little hard to grind. Pulse grind for 3-4 times and then mix it with a spoon then grind it until it become smooth.You will see the ice creamy texture.

Tips : If you have really hard time grinding, grind for few seconds then with a spoon mix everything that's sticking on the sides and bottom. Then grind it again repeat the process until it become smooth.

3. Add peanut butter and a pinch of salt. Pulse grind it. 

4. Scoop it out and serve immediately with toppings you like. I added peanuts and honey.

Tips : Do it when you are about to serve. To get nice sorbet - Once the bananas are out of the freezer all the steps has to be done quickly and served.
